Jason Platt – David Jason has been performing for the past seventeen years. Originally born in Moline Illinois, Jason found his love for acting when a classmate urged him to audition for one of his senior shows in Durham, North Carolina. Ever since then the bug has officially bitten him and won't let up. While studying illustration at Black Hawk College and the Savannah College of Art and Design, Jason supported himself by acting in various acting troupes and found himself working as a professional puppeteer in Georgia. Some of Jason's favorite roles include, The Baker in "Into the Woods", George Milton in "Of Mice and Men", Louis in "Personals", Gary/Roger in "Noises Off", Motel in "Fiddler on the Roof", Moonface Martin in "Anything Goes", Ry in "The Winning Streak" and an award winning performance as Nathan Detroit in "Guy's n Dolls". Jason works as an illustrator and graphic designer and lives in Moline, Illinois.
Tracy Pelzer-Timm - Sarah
Tracy grew up on a farm near Tipton, Iowa. While growing up she had many opportunities to test out her comedic skills with what she had available: pigs. After various performances of bad bacon jokes, she was ready to venture to a new audience: humans. After a couple of human audiences, she knew she had a love for performing after getting her first solo in her church’s Christmas program in sixth grade. She studied vocal music and theatre performance at Muscatine Community College and University of Iowa, respectively. Since college she has played many roles for professional and community theatres in Iowa and Illinios. A few of her favorite stage roles include Frankenstein’s Creature from “Frankenstein,” Brooke/ Vicki from “Noises Off,” Anna from “Boston Marriage,” Rizzo from “Grease,” Luisa from “Fantasticks,” Sister Mary Amnesia from “Nunsense,” and Dorothy from the “Wizard of Oz.” She recently ventured into film where she has played Brenda in "The Season" and Mary Hartmann in "Animate My Heart," among others. She also has been on her local community theatre board, Cedar County Stoplight Players, for 7 years.
Ben Hopkins - Terry
Ben, 49 years old, lives in Davenport Iowa with his wife of 28 years, Sherry. He owns Emeis Automotive in Davenport and is an active player at ComedySportz Quad Cities. Ben has been in several local commercials and short films. He enjoys live music and spending time with his granddaughter Tinnley.
Lisa Kahn - Shelly
Lisa lives in Milan, Illinois. She is a Programmer/Analyst for HNI Corporation in Muscatine, Iowa. Her stage credits include multiple shows in High School and for the USO in Okinawa Japan while serving with the United States Marine Corps. (Semper Fi!!!). More recently she has done several shows at Playcrafters in Moline, Illinois both on and backstage. Lisa’s film credits include some Safety and MP training films for the Marine Corps and last year she was the crying patient in the Avati Brothers movie "The Hideout".
Janitor - Don BraidDon lived the first 28 years of his life in Chicago. While in high school he enjoyed hanging out with friends, acted in some school plays and was involved with the Board of Education radio station. Including Chicago, Don also lived in Waukegan and Peoria (where he met his wonderful wife of 34 years that passed away 15 years ago). He has two terrific children who he is very close with and enjoys visiting. His grandchildren are a ball. After coming to the QCA he remained in radio but did a career change into sales. Don did stay involved doing commercials, acting in Shakespeare and community theatre. His favorite roles are Cassius in Julies Caesar and Felix Unger in The Odd Couple. Don has appeared in a few of the Avati brothers movies. Don also is a huge sports fan, especially the Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Black Hawks...basically anything involving Chicago. He also plays a lot of golf, badly he adds, and frequents the casinos. Finally, Don loves to travel when he can afford it.
